What is Supercross?

Born in the USA over 40 years ago, Supercross recreates outdoor motocross racing using man-made tracks built inside major Showgrounds, sports stadiums and entertainment venues.

Hundreds of truckloads of dirt and loam are carefully shaped into a race track that is filled with obstacles that can include double and triple jumps, whoops, sand pits, passing lanes and rhythm sections.

Designed to test the riders and thrill the crowds with high flying action, Supercross is the most exciting form of dirt bike racing.

In Australia, the premier Supercross competition is the annual Australian Supercross Championship, which is contested by leading pro and privateer racers alike.

Here at Jimboomba X Stadium we are proud to advise we have been host to rounds of both the Australian national and Queensland state Supercross Championships, as we strive to bring world-class motorcycle racing to the Logan City Council region of South-East Queensland.
